

She is survived by her son, Ronald Marwin, Jr (Paula) of Fernley her daughters, Margaret Vargas (Sergio) of Yerington, Marilyn McCurry (Brett) of Yerington and Mildred Friedman (David) of Thousand Oaks, Ca 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren her half sister, Mary and half brother, William Disoway and numerous nieces and nephews, and unofficially adapted many as her own over the years. She loved cooking and catering for special events and mostly sending loved ones and friends home with special care packages. Laverna retired from the State of Nevada and loved her job at the Legislature where she served over 10 sessions. They were married just days shy of 60 years. While growing up she visited her grandparents in Bishop, California where she met her husband, Ronald Marwin. Laverna has lived in Yerington for over 40 years. Letha is preceded in death by her parents her husband siblings, Wayne Mason Hershel Mason Ruth Long Opal Bland two sons, Willis and Charles (Chuck) Patton son-in-law, Bill Rowley two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Wylie, 92, of Havre DeGrace, Maryland, formerly of Sicklerville, NJ, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2022. They were happily married for 57 years until Buster died in 1987. After they moved to Enid, she and Buster joined Emmanuel Baptist Church. A former member of the Ames Rebecca Lodge, Letha participated in many community activities through her church and club memberships.
